On December 27th, the 2023 North Korean defector survey results were announced at a press conference held at the President Hotel in Seoul.

The economic situation and settlement environment of North Korean defectors living in Korea have improved, according to a survey.​

"It is positive to note that the overall level of settlement for North Korean defectors is improving," stated the foundation. They also added, "We are committed to enhancing our North Korean support projects and creating tailored solutions to ensure better outcomes in the future."
